Friends
Anna Christiansen-Stoppable
Anna Christiansen-Stoppable Ellie's best friend/idol/babysitter/dance teacher. In fact, Ellie considered Anna the best sister she never had and vice versa.
Ellie first met Anna at a restaurant one morning when the former went up to the latter and asked her to autograph her tap shoes, which she does.
Both Ellie and Anna would meet again days later when they both enter a dance contest at the Broy Theatre.
After performing her tap solo, and receiving congratulations from Anna, Connie Waller (Anna's rival at the Henry Hudson Preparatory School) walked up to Ellie and insulted her and tried to discourage her from dancing. This caused her to cry and run out the door backstage.
She was then comforted by Anna who gave her a pep talk that encouraged her to ignore those that discourage people and keep on dancing.
At the end of the contest, the winner was announced and it turned out to be Ellie much to Anna's amazement and Connie's disappointment.
After Anna and Ellie met up with their parents, Ellie told Anna that she and her mother, Michelle, were moving to Broy and, with the local dance studio, Fluckey Dance Center, moving away, she needed someone to teach her tap dancing. She asked Anna to be her teacher and Anna happily accepted. She was also more than happy to be her best friend too.
The next day, Michelle, hired Anna to be Ellie's babysitter and she happily accepted.
