Allusions, Homages, and Cameos[edit | edit source]

  • "Space Conflict" is an allusion to Star Wars in the same vein "Space Passage" is an allusion to Star Trek. It is presented as the franchise of which "Return to Ios" is part of.
    • The "Centennial Falcon" is a "Space Conflict" expy for the "Millennium Falcon" from Star Wars. Outwardly it is identical to a "Passenger configured YT-1300p series light freighter", the internal layout of the "Y-Naught-1300" was developed by Love Robin, yet in keeping with the "no such thing as a 'stock configuration', every model is customized" sensibilities of the Star Wars YT-1300. Yet full of the flair and tech found in Kim Possible.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Grey Matter is one result of the Cheerleaders in Spaaaaaace! Challenge which Love Robin put forth for others, yet ended up taking back to do herself. The challenge was to write stories where the cheerleaders crew certain famous spaceships from varied franchises. They are not considered part of a series as each one exists in a separate continuity. At best the responses to the Challenge may be considered as a "spiritual anthology".
