Nyna is an East Indian Hindu, has a soft-spoken Mumbai-British accent, and sports a series of bejeweled appliqué bindis on her forehead which, like earrings, she can change daily or as occasion demands.

She makes her first appearance in Chapter 14 of The Worst Possible Sitch as Dr Director's Officer of the Day on rotation for a week. She is to be featured occasionally on her own, maybe leading a squad, or partnered with Du.
